Job Summary
Our Operations Manager is a mission critical leader to our front-line team members. Responsibilities:
- Drive operational efficiencies, team productivity, and exceptional customer service.
- Own the logistical complexities of the weekly schedule, ensuring field operations run smoothly.
- Promote and maintain a safety culture among the team, while training on operational best practices.
- Work with community donation, recycling, and disposal partners to create unbreakable relationships to ensure the disposal of items the green way.
- Lead as the operational decision maker, empowering your teams to make field decisions while acting as a supportive sounding board to their ideas.
- Accountable for customer escalations to ensure positive customer outcomes.
- Responsible for the overall truck and equipment maintenance schedule.
- Execute guerilla marketing tactics to win repeat business, referrals, and new customers.
- Collaborate with leadership to embrace, implement, and promote continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 2+ year of operations or related experience
- Experience leading a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – this is a customer-facing role
- Safety-first mindset
- Ability to learn and use technology quickly and efficiently
- Ability to problem solve on the fly to get the job done
- Supply and reliably use your own mobile phone
- Ability to lift 75 lbs
- Military experience is highly valued, particularly for the leadership, discipline, and adaptability it fosters. Veterans are encouraged to apply.
Compensation: $24.00 per hour
